Timers Needed this Weekend!!! PLEASE REPLY!

We have been given timing assignments for this weekend at MIT as follows:

4 needed for Saturday AM 13 over

4 needed for Saturday PM 12 u

2 needed for Sunday AM 13 over

3 needed for Sunday PM 12 u

I have 1 spot filled already for Saturday morning so the rest of the spots are up for grabs!

Please get back to me tonite so I can have a list for the coaching staff of who is covering what. If I don’t get all sessions covered I will assign and send out the list.

Practice schedule for 12/31 and 1/1

There will be NO PRACTICES held today 12/31 or tomorrow 1/1 for Developmental, Age Grouper, or Rec swimmers as the club will be closing early for the holiday.

POLAR PLUNGE!!!! 1/1/19

Kingfish will be participating in the Polar Plunge at Rexhame Beach in Marshfield on New Years Day 1/1/19!

If your swimmer (or any member of your family) is interested in participating, we will be meeting in the parking lot at 11:15a as the plunge takes place at noon! Please feel free to bring snacks, hot cocoa, etc and MAKE SURE to wear your Kingfish Apparel!!!!

No need to RSVP just show up wearing your RED, WHITE, and BLUE and look for your KINGFISH BUDDIES!!!

Super fun event! Super fun bonding! Great photo ops!!

Also, regular practice schedule tomorrow for DEV and tomorrow and Sunday for AG. Juniors and Seniors watch your remind notices for any changes to your schedules.

I still have quite a few parkas that either weren’t picked up from my back deck or from Coach Bernadette so please let me know when you will be be so I can leave it out for you.

Want to let everyone know that parkas are in!

Unfortunately, I will not be able to do any deliveries to the club as I broke my foot yesterday so if you can tell me you are coming I will leave on my back deck for you.

Additionally, I will be charging the card on file this week for all apparel that has been passed out just to give you all a heads up.

Fall Rec/Winter Rec Dates

Just a reminder that the last day for Fall Rec will be next Tuesday November 20th.

Winter Rec registration is now live and will start up on Tuesday November 27th. Please note that your swimmer is NOT automatically registered for the next session. You would have had to already have registered them or you will have to go online and register for the next session prior to the first day.

Practice Schedule Tomorrow

Just confirming there WILL be practice tomorrow for all Age Groupers and Developmental swimmers not attending the meet. There is NO practice for Juniors or Seniors.

There will be no practices held on Sunday for any of the groups except for Rec which will follow regular schedule.

Apparel is Here! No practice for DEV and AG on Halloween!

APPAREL IS HERE!

I will be at the Kingsbury Club tomorrow in the front lobby from 5-630 pm so that everyone can pick up backpacks, suits, towels, warmups, etc. If you are not able to pick up and your swimmer doesn’t come by, email or call me and you can pick up at my house at your leisure.

Also, Coach Kendra and Coach Jon have informed me that there will be NO DEV or AG practice on Wednesday, Halloween but they encourage swimmers to wear costumes to practice tomorrow if they would like. They will still be swimming so make sure they have their suits with them as well.

Lastly, the items that everyone will receive as part of registration (cap, window sticker, tshirt) are available now as well. I will be giving individual bags to each coach with the swimmers name on it with contents enclosed. If you did not come to the fitting and have not given me your color choice for sticker and your swimmers tshirt size please email me and I’ll make sure to get it to you.

Locations for Parent Meetings

Every year at the beginning of the season the coaches like to hold an informational meeting for all the swimmers parents.

These meetings don’t run very long however, they are packed with information regarding your swimmers upcoming season, how practices are run, meet schedule, etc and allows everyone to get any questions answered that they may have.

We request that every swimmer (USS and REC) have at least one parent representing them at the meetings. These are open to all swimmers parents new and returning and will be held at the Kingsbury Club.

Sunday October 21st
Junior Meeting 8:30-9a } WILL BE HELD UPSTAIRS IN PUB
Senior Meeting 9-9:30a}

Wednesday October 24th
Developmental Meeting 5-5:30p} WILL BE HELD IN TENNIS VIEWING ROOM DOWNSTAIRS
Age Grouper Meeting 5:30-6p }

Sunday October 28th
Rec 9-9:30a WILL BE HELD UPSTAIRS IN PUB
