Amended warmup/start times for RWU 9/29

Please note amended warmup/session start times in attachments below for this weekends meet on Saturday 9 /29 at RWU.  The meet is SATURDAY NOT SUNDAY as mentioned in some of the packet.

Please make sure to have your swimmer on deck at least 15 minutes prior to FIRST WARMUP!    This means am (12u swimmers) need to be on deck no later than 7:45am!!!  Afternoon swimmers (13+) need to be on deck by 12:15pm!!!      Amended warmup/Session start times are as follows

AM:   Warm-up 8-8:40, 8:50am Start  (swimmers on deck by 7:45a)

 

PM:   Warm-up  12:30 – 1:10,   1:20pm Start  (swimmers on deck by 12:15p)

 


The coaching staff NEEDS this time to assess the swimmers that will be participating and to get our scratches in.   PLEASE DO NOT deviate from this requirement to avoid any confusion.


Additionally, our entry for the meet can still be found below as well as all pertinent information in the below link regarding warmups, parking, etc.

CCSC Meet November 16th-18th!!

We have a meet at Mass Maritime November 16-18 however, it was originally listed as just the 16th and 17th.  If you have already sent your  swimmers conflicts to Coach Craft could you please send again including the 18th so there is no confusion.

Deadline for opting out of meets

Coach Craft has asked that I send out this email letting everyone know that the deadline for opting out of meets is next Wednesday September 19th.

All competitive swimmers WILL be entered into any and all appropriate meets unless Coach Craft is notified by above date of what you are opting out of.  You can opt out of a meet entirely or just a day of a meet but he needs these particulars communicated by the due date.  

All rec swimmers are NOT automatically entered into meets therefore, you need to look at the schedule of meets posted and email Coach Craft of which meets you would like your swimmer entered into also by the due date listed above.

Our meet schedule can be found by going to the homepage and the top navy blue bar has a heading “USS” if you hover over, it will drop down to “meet schedule” and you can see the full list with dates and locations.

Fit Clinic Hiccups……..

So we held our fit clinic tonite at the Kingsbury Club and we were missing quite a few swimmers!

Please be aware as stated in my first email, it was required that you all attend as we have a new suit this year and if you didn’t attend and aren’t in touch a suit will be ordered for you in the size you ordered last year. 
Additionally, if you require anything else that is typically ordered only once per year (caps with last names, warmups, parkas,) I would suggest those be communicated to me at the same time as suit size request.

Lastly, I am missing a size 26 boys jammer from tonites try ons!    I’m sure one of the younger kids had it on and forgot to take it off but I need to know who might have it so I can pick it up for return.  These suits have to be paid for up front and if they aren’t returned we are charged so please take a look in your sons bags and let me know………Thanks!!!

Bubble Up/Fit Clinic/Dates

So we have been notified by the Kingsbury Club that bubble will start to go up next Tuesday September 11th.
They have plans to have it complete by Friday but as always this whole procedure is very weather dependent.
Once everything is in place and confirmed I will send out an email clarifying practice schedules while this is taking place.

That being said, our annual Fit Clinic will be happening Tuesday evening 9/11 from 5-7.  The plan is to have it in the back of the club near the locker rooms where we typically have it.  If the location changes for some reason I will send out another email.  Please make sure to attend as this will be when all orders will be placed for all apparel, team suits, equipment, parkas, caps with last names, etc.    Alot of these items as most of you know are only ordered during this clinic so we can get the lowest bulk pricing available so don’t miss out!
Additionally, everyone MUST have a team suit and the suit IS CHANGING THIS YEAR!

2018/2019 Registration is Live/Practice Schedule/More!

 2018/2019 Registration is LIVE!

Please go to the homepage under “for parents” and register your swimmer for short course season now! 
We anticipate all groups to hit capacity for the season so get your swimmer registered as soon as possible as once the season begins your swimmer must be in the system and registered in order to swim practice.

Open tryouts will be held this week on deck at the Kingsbury Club September 4th and 6th, 7pm each nite!

Short course practices start up this week as well!  Practice schedule for each group can be seen by clicking “when we practice” button from homepage.  

Developmental – Start back Wednesday Sept 5th

Age Groupers – Start back Wednesday Sept 5th

Juniors- Start back Thursday Sept 6th

Seniors – Start back Tuesday Sept 4th

All Rec levels start their fall season Tuesday Sept 4th (if this is a day the swimmer chooses to swim)
