Unfortunately, since the storm was a dud the sledding that the coaches had planned to do with the team won’t be happening.

In the spirit of still doing something fun they have decided to do a team outing over at Alley Kat Bowling in Kingston .

There will be no practices held but instead all swimmers are welcome to bowl with the team from 4-5:15pm tomorrow, Friday at the bowling lanes right across from the Kingsbury Club.

All swimmers should bring $8.50 which will cover shoe rental and bowling and should bring extra cash if they want any snacks or to play in the arcade.

All coaches will be on hand with the kids so arrive a bit early to give everyone time to rent shoes and have money collected.

The Kingsbury Club was without power today much like everyone else around here!

That said we are told they will open for regular hours tomorrow as long as power stays on.  Because the pool will have a delayed opening Coach has decided to split our afternoon practices amongst the 4 groups so that everyone can practice tomorrow.

DEV and AG will practice 4-5p

JR and SR will practice 445-6p

This Sunday March 11th we are very fortunate to be hosting Paralympic Gold Medalist Becca Myers from 9:30-11:30a!!!!

Becca is a decorated paralympian winning 3 gold and 1 silver in Rio 2016 as well as a silver and a bronze in London 2012!!!!  

Becca will be on deck with her dog Birdie, sharing her story and experiences as well as answering questions about her swimming career.  She will be doing some drills in the water and then will be autographing caps and taking pictures with all of our swimmers!!!  This is a fantastic opportunity for all Kingfish to be exposed to this wonderful young woman and hear about her exciting journey!

Do your homework……………  Becca will be asking questions regarding some of her accomplishments and there will be prizes for the right answers!!!  

We are so excited to have this wonderful opportunity and look forward to seeing everyone there!!!!!

Locker room renovations are finally finished at the Kingsbury Club!

That being said, we are having strict guidelines imposed on our swimmers which must be followed to the letter or we will lose our locker room privileges.

NO Kingfish are allowed in the adult/members section for any reason!

ONLY ONE person per time in each shower! Be mindful of splashing water, etc..

NO Kingfish can use family changing rooms!

ALL belongings must be picked up and taken with or disposed of before leaving premises!

Please make sure you relay to your swimmer that they be respectful of Kingsbury property and be expeditious when using locker rooms. It is a benefit to our team to be allowed the use of the locker rooms so courtesy and respect should be displayed at all times as representatives of the team.
